Can I put a V8 engine in my 87AMC Eagle?

I just want to know if I can, and if so, which ones from which car, I am looking for more speed, something to modernize my vehicle. And would anyone know where I could get one from?
Oh and my engine is a 6Cyl.

Yes you can. I have done many swaps of all kinds. Small block chevy and Big Block Chevy in a vega. Small block chevy in a 1978 triumph TR-7. The 350 fit very nice under the hood of the Triumph. Many said it could not be done. Just a matter of fabrication.
