2001 ford escape spark plug stripped

If the fan in my car is not working on all speeds, do I need to replace the switch or "resistors.?

I have heard that I need to replace the "resistors", I don't know where they are or what they are, I would think the problem would be a new switch. Any help would be appreciated. The fan motor checks out fine.

Pinpointing an electrical problem can either be simple or hard.
1. First. If the motor is fine, but you're not getting voltage to the blower motor check the fuses.
2. If those fuses are fine, than look inside the controll panel for
