Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI problems...?
Over the winter I bought a 2001 Calabria Pro V w/ a Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI. This boat has had nothing but problems since the first time I attempted to start it. First the alternator was seized, then a seized steering cable, a sticky throttle/ shifter
First, remove the outdrive from the transom plate to determine whether the problem is engine or drive related. After the drive is removed, try to start the engine. If the problem persists, it is an internal engine issue, if not, it is a drive problem.
