2001 ford escape spark plug stripped

What engine will interchange with a 1999 Ford F150 4.2 Liter engine V6?

I just want to have the least amount of hassel doing this as possible.

I have switched an engine only once before and it was an identical swap.

I am having a really hard time finding this year/size for a resonable price.

Me I would go to junk yard and find a 300 straight six and put in there the motors are the best six cylander ford ever made you might have to change some wires and motor mounts but it is a pretty straight foward swap.Pretty sure it would be last motor
